Untracked/Modified/Staged


Create another file called config.pl


$ git status


examples/out/status_06.txt

# Changes not staged for commit:

#       modified:   README.txt
#
# Untracked files:

Stage it


$ git add config.pl


examples/out/status_07.txt

# Changes to be committed:
#   (use "git reset HEAD <file>..." to unstage)
#
#       new file:   config.pl
#
# Changes not staged for commit:
#   (use "git add <file>..." to update what will be committed)
#   (use "git checkout -- <file>..." to discard changes in working directory)

#
# Untracked files:
#   (use "git add <file>..." to include in what will be committed)
#
#       setup.pl
